Hope? Nope.

I used to think that the primary forces in our human experience weren't good and evil, but hope and fear.

And maybe, at the individual level - for you and I as we navigate our day to day existence - that's still the case.

But hope is not a strategy. Nor is it a substitute for action. In the same way that empathy won't fix the messes we're in.
